More safety, More quality!
ESD floors are designed to dissipate static electricity and thus protect sensitive electronic components, prevent ignition in explosive environments and protect people.
QI-Technologie was involved in a project for an ESD floor for a factory dedicated to the assembly, manufacture and processing of electronic and electro-mechanical devices.
For this system, Stopox WL 100 was applied as a primer, a low-emission water-based epoxy resin permeable to water vapour. Subsequently, StoDivers LS connection points were applied and the system was sealed with StoPur WV 210, an electrically conductive polyurethane sealant.
In this way we were able to ensure that:
- The floor complies with the requirements of standard EN 61340-5-1
- Quality and safety in the workplace were guaranteed
- Protection against electrostatic discharges
- Low VOC emissions zone
