Waterproof membrane based on expandable polymer, mechanical adhesion to concrete

APPLICATIONS

Polyfleece SX® 1000 is applied as a linear or holohedral external waterproofing system for all types of reinforced concrete structures. Polyfleece SX® 1000 can be used as a membrane to adhere to fresh concrete as waterproofing. Polyfleece SX® 1000 is laid on the base before concreting with the side coated for the terrain/exterior, or if it is in formwork on walls with the side coated for formwork. The position of the adhesion layer (felt) is directly on the uncoated side of the waterproofing membrane, the concrete is then applied over this uncoated side of the Polyfleece SX® 1000, which will adhere to the concrete as part of it. This function prevents any water from passing between the membrane seal and concrete. Alternatively, Polyfleece SX® 1000 can be applied to existing structures. To ensure the sealing of existing buildings, the felt side is applied directly to the concrete with the 2K SX1 sealing adhesive on the surface.

For both applications, the expansive function is triggered by the effect of humidity. The expandable effect ensures the sealing of the system even after some possible data existing during the application of the system.
