DESCRIPTION

Pre-formed sealant produced through extrusion and vulcanisation of elastomers. The elastomer is classified into two types:
– Type 1 – Profile produced from an elastomer compound resistant to paraffinic
and aromatic oils, ASTM No. 1 and ASTM No. 3 respectively
– Type 2 – Profile produced from an elastomer compound not resistant to oils

APPLICATIONS

• Dams
• Tunnels
• Reservoirs
• Expansion joints under high hydrostatic pressures up to 2.5 MPa
